Import Reviews with CSV

What does this integration do?

CSV Import lets you bring reviews you already have into ProofBeer. Upload a CSV file, match its columns to review fields and import them straight into your dashboard.

• Move over reviews from an old tool or spreadsheet.

• Add testimonials you collected by email or in person.

• No developer or third-party tool needed.

Prepare your CSV file

• Use one row per review.

• Include a column for the reviewer name.

• Include a column for the star rating from 1 to 5.

• Include a column for the review text.

• Optional: add a column for the review date.

• Save the file in CSV format from Excel or Google Sheets.

How to import reviews

1. Open Integrations and click Add Connection.

2. Select CSV Import.

3. Type an Integration Name, for example Customer Testimonials.

4. Click Save Connection.

5. In the integration details panel, upload your CSV file.

6. Map your columns to the review fields.

7. Confirm to import the reviews.

Use case

A coaching business has 80 testimonials saved in a spreadsheet. The owner exports it as a CSV, imports it into ProofBeer and shows the best ones in a Spotlight Slider on the sales page.

Tips

• Remove empty rows and extra headers before uploading.

• Use plain numbers for ratings, such as 5 rather than five stars.

• Import a small file first to check the mapping looks right.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import more than once?

Yes. Upload another file to the same connection to add more reviews.

What if my columns have different names?

That is fine. You choose which column matches each field during the mapping step.
