Connect Google Places Reviews

What does this integration do?

The Google Places integration imports the public Google reviews of a business location. You only need the location's Place ID. No Google sign-in is required.

• Show your Google reviews directly on your website.

• Combine them with reviews from your forms.

• Works for shops, restaurants, malls, clinics, agencies and more.

Before you begin

• Make sure your business is listed on Google Maps.

• Find your Google Place ID using Google's Place ID Finder tool.

How to find your Place ID

1. In the connection window, click Find Place ID next to the Place ID field.

2. Search for your business name in Google's Place ID Finder.

3. Select your business from the results.

4. Copy the Place ID. It is a long code that starts with ChIJ.

How to connect Google Places

1. Open Integrations and click Add Connection.

2. Select Google Places.

3. Enter an Integration Name, for example Store Google Reviews.

4. Paste your Google Place ID.

5. Click Save Connection.

6. Click Sync Now to import the reviews.

Use case

A shopping mall wants to prove how much visitors enjoy it. The team connects the mall's Google listing, selects it in a Grid Layout widget and places the widget on its homepage. Visitors see real Google reviews without leaving the site.

Tips

• Check that the Place ID belongs to the correct branch if you have several locations.

• Create one connection per location.

• Use the review filter in your widget to show only your best reviews.

What is the difference from Google My Business?

Google Places uses a Place ID and needs no sign-in. Google My Business signs in with your Google account to sync reviews from your own business profile.

Why are no reviews showing?

Check the Place ID for typos, then click Sync Now.
