What does this integration do?

Zapier connects ProofBeer to the apps you already use. When something happens in another app, such as a new survey answer or a new row in a spreadsheet, Zapier can send it to ProofBeer as a review.

Before you begin

• Create a free or paid account at Zapier.

• Know which app holds the reviews you want to send.

How to connect Zapier

1. Open Integrations and click Add Connection.

2. Select Zapier.

3. Enter an Integration Name, for example Zapier Reviews.

4. Click Save Connection.

5. ProofBeer shows a unique Webhook URL. Copy it.

Set up your Zap

1. In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose your trigger app, for example a new survey response.

2. Add an action step and choose Webhooks by Zapier.

3. Select the POST event.

4. Paste your ProofBeer Webhook URL.

5. Map the review details, such as reviewer name, rating and review text.

6. Test the Zap and turn it on.

Use case

A store collects customer reviews through a third-party survey tool. With a Zap, every new five star survey answer is sent to ProofBeer automatically and appears in the store's Wall of Love widget.

Tips

• Send a test review first to confirm everything appears correctly.

• Filter in Zapier so only good reviews are sent.

• Use Field Mapping and moderation in ProofBeer to approve reviews before they appear.

Where do I find my webhook URL?

After saving the connection, select it in Integrations to see its webhook details.

Nothing arrives in ProofBeer.

Check that the Zap is on, the URL is pasted correctly and the connection switch in ProofBeer is turned on.
