What is abandoned data?

An abandoned session happens when a visitor starts filling in a form but leaves before submitting it. ProofBeer records these sessions so you can see exactly where people stop.

  • Learn how many visitors you are losing.

  • See how far each visitor got before leaving.

  • Improve your forms to increase completion.

How to open Abandoned Data

  1. Click Abandoned Data in the left menu.

  2. Review the summary cards at the top.

  3. Scroll down to the Recent Abandoned Records table.

How to reduce drop-offs

  • Shorten the form. Remove questions you do not truly need.

  • Move hard questions later. Start with easy ones to build momentum.

  • Check the drop-off question. Open Analytics, pick a form and review Top Drop-off Questions.

  • Make questions clearer. Confusing wording makes people leave.
