What are forms used for?

Forms are how you collect feedback from your visitors and customers. Every form you create lives on the My Forms page.

  • Ask customers what they think about your product or service.

  • Collect ratings and testimonials that can later become reviews.

  • Run short surveys such as onboarding or exit questions.

How to create a new form

  1. Click My Forms in the left menu.

  2. Click the Create New Form button at the top right.

  3. Add your questions and give the form a clear name.

  4. Save the form. It starts as a Draft.

  5. Publish the form when you are ready to collect responses.

Understanding the forms list

Each form is shown as a row with everything you need at a glance.

  • Form Details: the form name, an optional description and a Public Link you can share.

  • Type & Questions: whether it is a Multi-Step Form (one question at a time) or a Single Form (all questions on one screen), plus the number of questions and endings.

  • Status: for example ACTIVE for a live form.

  • Responses: click Show to see the responses for that form.

  • Created: the date the form was made.

Form actions

  • Configure: change the settings of the form.

  • Clone: make a copy of a form so you can reuse its questions.

  • Edit: open the form to change questions.

  • Delete (red bin icon): remove a form you no longer need.

Understanding form statuses

The tabs at the top of My Forms group your forms by status. The number next to each tab shows how many forms it contains.

  • All Forms: every form in the workspace.

  • Published: live forms that are accepting responses.

  • Drafts: forms you are still building. Visitors cannot see them.

  • Archived: forms you no longer use. They stay out of your way without being lost.

Finding a form quickly

  • Click Filter to narrow the list.

  • Switch between the status tabs to focus on what matters.

  • Use clear form names so they are easy to recognise in Responses and Analytics.

Best practices for better forms

  • Keep it short. Fewer questions mean more people finish. Use Analytics to see which question causes drop-off.

  • Ask one thing per question. Clear questions give clearer answers.

  • Start easy. Open with a simple rating or choice before asking for longer text.

  • Test before publishing. Submit a response yourself to check how it looks.

  • Choose the right type. Use a Multi-Step Form for a guided feel and a Single Form for quick feedback.

Frequently asked questions

I created a form but visitors cannot see it. Why?

Check that the form is published and not a draft.

Should I delete old forms?

We recommend archiving them instead. Archived forms keep their past responses and analytics.

How do I share my form?

Click the Public Link on the form row and share that link with your visitors.

Where do submissions go?

All submissions appear on the Responses page and are counted on your Dashboard and Analytics.
