Managing, Syncing and Moderating Reviews

The connection details panel

Select any connection in Integrations to see its details on the right.

• Status: shows whether the connection is Connected.

• Total Reviews: how many reviews were imported.

• Avg. Rating: the average star rating of those reviews.

• Last Synced: the date and time of the latest sync.

Connection actions

• Sync Now: fetch the newest reviews from the source immediately.

• Field Mapping: for Feedback Form connections, choose which question gives the name, rating and review text.

• Edit: change the connection name or settings.

• Delete (red bin icon): remove the connection.

• On/off switch: in the left panel, pause or resume a connection without deleting it.

How to sync reviews

1. Open Integrations.

2. Select the connection you want to update.

3. Click Sync Now.

4. Check the Last Synced time and new review count.

Moderating each review

Every imported review has its own controls, so you decide what visitors see.

• Approved: the review is allowed to appear in your widgets. Click it to change the status.

• Pin: keep a favourite review at the top.

• Graphic: create a shareable graphic from the review for social media.

• Bin icon: delete the review from ProofBeer.

Understanding the review row

• The number on the left identifies the review.

• Gold stars show the rating.

• A sentiment tag, such as positive or mixed, is added by AI.

• The date and review text are shown below.

Best practices

• Sync regularly so your website always shows fresh reviews.

• Pin your strongest testimonial so it is always visible.

• Approve only reviews you are happy to show publicly.

• Turn a connection off instead of deleting it if you only need a break.

Frequently asked questions

A review does not show in my widget.

Check that it is approved, that its connection is selected as a source in the widget and that the connection switch is on.

What happens if I delete a connection?

Its reviews will no longer be available to your widgets, so we recommend turning it off instead.
